Location: Boise, ID
Salary: $18.50-$27.00/hr. DOE

Overview: Guerdon, LLC is seeking qualified applicants for Quality inspector to join our Quality Assurance team. A candidate for this position will be expected to inspect residential dwellings, industrial and commercial modular buildings in multiple stages for compliance to construction and cosmetic standards as set forth by the company and its clients. They’ll also need to be able to communicate to supervisors and employees defects that need to be corrected in a tactful and productive manner and conduct final inspections prior to issuance of completion labels.
Responsibilities & Learned Skills Include:
- Knowledge of the stages of construction where various possible violations and defects may be most easily observed and corrected.
- Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands.
- Skill in reviewing and evaluating technical data, manufacturer install instructions, and construction documentation.
- Skill in effective communication, both verbal and written.
- Ability to detect deficiencies or deviations from approved plans.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-workers, members of construction industry.
- The ability to accurately use and read a tape measure.
- The ability to pay attention to detail and follow work instructions is fundamental to success in this position.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience in building inspection, construction trades or plan review (Required).
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to work overtime.
- Proficient knowledge in commercial/residential construction and other structures.
- Ability to organize and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Compliance to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Building Safety Technology, Construction Practices, or related fields.
- Ability to read and interpret building codes, plans and specifications.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, and kneel.
- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling materials.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50Ibs.
- Moderately loud noise level.
