Roles & Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
As the Quality Control Specialist, the ideal candidate will be tasked with auditing account information entered into Salesforce by all other departments. This audit process includes protecting Quest clients from fraudulent payment requests, malicious investments, preventing prohibited transactions from occurring, ensuring that client instruction is followed as outlined by the client, and ensuring that Quest remains in compliance at all times. As a member of Quality Control, you are the last set of eyes that will prevent fraudulent cash requests, malicious investments, and prohibited transactions that would threaten the client’s IRA. The Quality Control Specialist will protect the company from any unnecessary liabilities and risks.
- Audit all transactions associated with your assigned department to ensure transactions comply with internal policies and procedures
- Communicate and build rapport across multiple departments
- Fund and process transactions correctly and efficiently with the understanding of the compliance requirements
- Ensure submission deadlines are met and funding occurs in a timely manner
- Participate in the establishment or strengthening of internal controls
- Complete internal department related projects
- Work closely with client facing departments and their respective management; build strong rapport with assigned departments
- Identify existing and potential problem areas
- Maintain audit documents in an orderly and secure manner
- May occasionally be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma is required
- Requires a minimum of six months to 1 year of job-related experience
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous Quality Control experience in an office environment
- Time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize
- Must be able to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to grow and accept new challenges
- Strong communication (verbally and written) and active listening
- Previous data entry experience
- Problem solving/critical thinking skills
- Salesforce experience preferred, but not required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
