Quality Manager

Salary: DOE

Job Summary

• Design and implement Fres-co’s quality system in accordance with the Safe Quality Food Standard
• Ensure regulatory compliance within operations
• Be the primary SQF practitioner
• Provide leadership to the organization in every aspect of Quality
• Manage a team of 15 or more people over multiple shifts
• Develop and communicate corporate quality policies
• Train all levels in the organization about quality policies, systems, programs and procedures
• Create reporting systems evaluating the quality systems and product quality
• Communicate customer feedback to directors and managers for guidance in continuous improvement
• Be the point of contact for customers, suppliers and any other external parties regarding quality systems and procedures
• Continuously look for ways to improve techniques for the control of quality, reliability and safety

Qualifications & Skills

• 4 Year Degree in engineering (or related field) or equivalent experience
• 5 to 7 years of experience as a Quality Manager
• 2+ Years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Active member in Quality organizations such as ASQ, APQC, ANSI
• Knowledge of SQF GMP/Food Safety System
• Knowledge and experience in an ISO9001 environment
• Ability to use MS office to create quality reports and macros
