Overview: As a Quotation Sales Assistant, you would be assessing incoming requests for quotes, estimating, and generating pricing in tandem/support of the sales and engineering team while also closely working the customer and completing revisions and updates as needed. The ultimate goal is to procure signed quotations for custom steel window and door orders while ensuring manufacturability.

Duties:
Assess estimate/quotation requests with intention to win new and repeat business for Optimum Window Mfg. Corp.- Manage and incoming quote requests as they are submitted while maintaining response time in accordance with set standards
-Enter the requests for quotes into our system in accordance with set time standards -Daily coordination with engineering staff and other internal departments
- Use of critical, creative and innovative thought processes while problem solving
- Proactively identifying the needs of our customers
- Ownership of all aspects of the quoting process, including working with other departments to find solutions for technical questions
- Perform other tasks, as assigned by management

Essential Skills:
Min. high school diploma. College or technical training preferred- Two years customer service and project/team coordination experience preferred
-Microsoft Office proficiency -Estimating or technical sales experience preferred -Close attention to detail
- A desire to learn and grow with the company
- Microsoft Dynamics or CRM knowledge a plus, but not a requirement
