We’re looking for an entry-level staff bookkeeper to join our team! You’ll reconcile accounts, keep track of accounts payable and receivable, and be responsible for running financial records. This role is perfect for a motivated individual with an understanding of basic accounting principles.

This training period will take place at the corporate office located in Tifton, Georgia. After training is complete, there is the possibility this position will be remote. There are times during the month/year when longer hours are required to complete tasks for deadlines.

$16 - $20 hourly

• Stay on top of any needed collections and make sure our bills are paid on time
• Look over accounts payable and receivable regularly to ensure every invoice and expense report to evaluate accuracy
• Complete other accounting tasks as needed to assist the real estate team
• Produce regular journal entries to post to the general ledger
• Input records into the computer to make sure financial data is filed accurately
• Ensure all records are ready for monthly and quarterly reporting
• Facilitate all incoming payments and outgoing checks, including printing, obtaining signatures for, and distributing checks as necessary
• Reconcile all business accounts to ensure our records match up and no transaction gets lost

• High school diploma required, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is highly valued
• Has strong abilities in communication, both in writing and by phone
• Understands basic rules of GAAP
