DEFINITION: This position is responsible for providing programming support.
REPORTS TO: Arts Curator.

- Providing programming support by the install and uninstall of
and otherwise assist Arts Curator with galleries.
- Support arts programs including construction, painting, and broad operational
- Perform duties as needed: painting walls, moving art work, straightening art work,
- Other task as assigned.
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Background in construction preferred.
- Understanding of art, collections, or fragile objects preferred.
HOURS OF WORK: Varies (5-17.5 hours a week)
SHIFTS: Varies. Sunday through Saturday 8am-9pm.
NOTE: Must be available to work weekends and evenings as necessary.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction highly preferred.
- Experience in visual or performing arts very helpful.
- Ability to work with direct supervision as well as ability to be a self-starter
- Excellent oral and written communication skills desirable.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willingness to work on ladders.
- Strong understanding of safety when working on ladders or with a variety of tools.
- Able to lift, carry, and move heavy or bulky objects such as sculpture.
