As a Recreation Worker, you'll have the opportunity to work with children age 14 and up, helping them to create experiences they'll remember for a lifetime.

Your main responsibility is to ensuring the children are enjoying themselves in a clean and safe environment. To accomplish this goal, you'll need to...

• Supervise a group of children ages 14-17 years old.

• Plan and carry out age appropriate, learning activities for the children in your care.

• Keep record of any incidents, issues, or concerns you, the children or their parents have regarding care and report them to your supervisor.

• Know, enforce, and follow all safety guidelines associated with the teen program, including knowing the whereabouts of the children in your care at all times.

Education, Experience & Skill Requirements:

• Education and experience in camp, youth programs, recreation, working with children, or in a related field.

• Enjoys being in the company of children

• Leadership skills, problem-solving skills, organization skills, mediation skills

• Ability to perform a variety of high-activity tasks outside

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

• Ability to serve as a positive role model and mentor

• Comfortable in a team-player role

• Creative and innovative thinker and planner

• Computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

• Be able to pass a background check.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Afternoon/Night shift

• Monday to Friday or Weekends
