JOB SUMMARY:
The Recruiting and Training Specialist is responsible for full cycle recruiting and training of new agents. This position collaborates with team leaders and is responsible for contacting, qualifying, and converting applicants and potential applicants within and alongside the Company’s vision, mission, and values. The Recruiting and Training Specialist facilitates the onboarding process to ensure new team members are trained on the sales processes and systems for the Company. This position reports to the Senior Operations Manager and has a strong presence in all training related to the business and ensures all training aspects are covered and managed. The Recruiting and Training Specialist provides excellent service to team members and external customers while demonstrating the company values and supporting the mission.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for full cycle recruiting and training of new agents
- Responsible for contacting, qualifying, and converting applicants and potential applicants
- Facilitate the onboarding process to ensure new team members are trained on the Company’s sales processes and systems
- Assist in developing and administering new hire sales training for new agents
- Assist in developing and refining ongoing sales training materials and systems
- Vet resumes and perform qualifying calls with new prospects
- Assist in planning topics for training calls and events
- Lead management communication and follow-up with leads that come through main website, through career services, and our agents
- Act as the point of contact for recruiting needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in customer service, recruiting, event planning or related field
- Experience using a CRM is preferred
- Event related experience is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while accomplishing daily tasks
- Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and critical thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills
- High standards for integrity, honesty, professionalism, and work ethic
- Commitment to service excellence
- Ability to work independently while demonstrating excellent organization and follow through

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to work in a traditional professional office setting or remote equivalent
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Advanced computer skills and ability to effectively operate computer equipment, software systems and databases
- Work schedule may vary and is determined by project schedules
- Ability to efficiently operate all job-related office equipment
- Ability to communicate via telephone, computer and work in virtual teams
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
- Ability to travel using personal vehicle to other office locations as needed
- The responsibilities may require occasional overnight travel
