Essential Job Functions

• Quality systems, product quality results, continuous quality improvement and personnel development

• Develops and maintains total quality systems and procedures supporting the manufacturing of KIK products

• Performs physical quality plant audits for North American Classic Division sites
Monitors all company quality initiatives for products manufactured

• Oversees Quality functions regards to development and maintenance of product specifications

• Develops/monitors training systems and programs supporting a total quality organization

• Reviews and updates quality scorecard measures

• Reviews/monitors production deviations related to Quality

• Serves as a technical resource / problem-solving and issue analysis for the facilities in their region

• Extensive travel to North American Facilities is required

• Work as a part of a team ensuring that communication is strong, and all are involved.

• Demonstrate track record of achieving success with the ability to multi-task under pressure and meet deadlines

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Qualifications

• BS degree in Applied Science or the equivalent of 10 years quality management in the consumer-packaged goods industry.

• Good problem solver with the ability to involve needed resources for quick resolution of problems.

• Must be decisive using the known facts and possible repercussions in making informative decisions. Must have excellent people skills to provide technical support to Sales Team as needed.

• Significant strengths should include verbal and formal written communications and presentations.

• Focused time manager with ability to organize and facilitate progress in a rapidly changing environment

• Experience in filling or blow molding environment a plus

• QA leadership experience of multiple plant locations or a larger plant with multiple lines would be an asset.

• Extremely proactive and forward thinking with exceptional analytical skills and ability to identify issues and proactively plan to satisfy requirements

• Demonstrate a high level of accountability and ownership of a quality processes and plans

• Proficient with Microsoft applications – strong understanding of excel

• Ability to work independently and to interact effectively with all levels of the organization

• ISO or ASQ CQA preferred
