Job description

Our hygienist is relocating to California and we are looking for a compassionate and joyful individual who would love to join our team. We are a 34 year staple business in our community and are a high volume practice full of wonderful patients. We are looking for someone reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages.

7 Weeks paid vacation and holiday pay which include 10-12 days off in February, a long weekend for Easter (Thursday-Sunday), a week off for Memorial Day, a long weekend for Father's Day, 11-14 days off for 4th of July, 10-12 days off the end of July into the first week of August, a week off for Labor Day, shortened hours on Halloween, a long weekend for Thanksgiving, and 10-13 days off for Christmas/New Years. We do not work the week in between Christmas/New Years.

Fall/Winter/Spring Hours September 1-May 31:

• Monday- 7:30-5:30
• Tuesday/Thursday- 7:00-5:00
• First Friday and second Saturday- 7:00-1:00 (we do not work a Saturday in May)

Summer Hours June 1-August 31: (no Friday's or Saturday's)

• Monday- 7:30-5:30
• Tuesday/Thursday- 7:00-5:00
• 2 Wednesday's a month-7:00-5:00

Hourly pay includes base pay + bonus. Traditional sick pay is unlimited. We use ADP so checks are direct deposit with full use of the app to set up any deductions, bank accounts, etc. you may need as well as full access to reports, pay stubs, and W-2 on demand.

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
• Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
• Outstanding communication skills
• A patient and friendly personality
• Attention to detail
• Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
• Diploma in Dental Hygiene
• Valid license to practice in the state of Michigan

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
