THE OPTIMAL HOSPICE REGISTERED NURSE:

  • Nurse/Patient Relationship: Develops and maintains a therapeutic relationship through the health care continuum
  • Responsible for documentation and communication of care, medication, and observations made during care of the patient in order to track responsiveness and health of patient.
  • Responsible for providing appropriate patient/family education to help patient/family achieve a pain-free and comfortable status.
  • Responsible for providing care on the weekends on an as-needed basis, determined by patient status.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current Colorado RN license
  • Current CPR
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
  • Benefit Conditions: Only full-time employees eligible

Work Location:

  • Caseload will be in the Denver Metro area.

Sign-On Bonus: up to $8,000

The amount will be determined based on need, experience, and skill set.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Hospice or Home Care: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • RN License in the state of CO (Required)

  • Day Shift (Preferred)
  • Night Shift (Preferred)
  • Overnight Shift (Preferred)

Work Location: On the road
