Job Title: MedSurg RN

Pay Rate: $4593/wk

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated MedSurg RN to join our team at Strong Memorial Health in Rochester, NY. The MedSurg RN will be responsible for providing quality patient care on a MedSurg unit, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and effective patient care based on the nursing process and evidence-based practice
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, and report any changes to the physician and interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan
• Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medications, and self-care strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Qualifications:

• Active New York State RN License
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
• At least 2 years of recent MedSurg RN experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Shift Pattern:

This is a 13-week contract position with a shift pattern of 4x12s (48hrs) on a rotating schedule of days and nights.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay rate for this position is $95.69/hr, with a weekly salary of $4593. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance and referral bonus scheme!
