Colorado Urologic Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Part Time, RN Perioperative Nurse to join our team. The Colorado Urology provides a comprehensive array of urologic services to patients. The integrated approach to urologic care provides patients with access to experienced specialists, a comprehensive support team of healthcare professionals, innovative diagnostic tools, and highly advanced treatments and therapies.

No call, weekend or holidays!!

JOB SUMMARY:

The RN Perioperative Nurse is under the supervision of Surgeons and the Regional Director of Nursing, the Staff Nurse is responsible for the clinical operation of the Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinates and directs all paperwork and medical records for surgical patients, including consents and other required releases, informed consent, etc.
• Directs patient intake and discharge. Ensure patient is given full details of the procedure to be performed. At discharge, provides the patient with full written discharge orders according to Summit Ambulatory Surgery Centers designated protocols.
• Prepare patients for surgery.
• Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions.
• Maintains all medical equipment, verifying that routine and periodic maintenance procedures are performed and logged for all corporate locations.
• Perform other clinical and office duties as assigned by manager.

$37-$43 / hour

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing or lesser degree and commensurate experience.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Colorado.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in perioperative care.
• CPR and ACLS certification is required.

Pay: $37.00 - $43.00 per hour
