The LFS Group is looking for an Operating Room Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Schedule:

• 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
• Days Vary

Responsibilities:

• Providing patient care and supporting the surgeon to make their job easier.
• Oversee every aspect of a surgical procedure, including preparing the operating room, watching over the patient during surgery and ensuring the patient is ready for transport to the recovery room.
• independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
• Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS). a. Other REQUIRED cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS, NRP, PALS, etc.) are unit specific.
• BSN degree preferred
• National Certification in Clinical Specialty preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
