The Registered Nurse RN in the Cardiopulmonary Rehab department supports the rehabilitation and treatment process of patients who have suffered a cardiac incident or are trying to manage cardiovascular disease. This position works closely with physicians, providers, exercise specialists and others in providing a team approach to exceptional patient care.
Schedule:
Cardiopulmonary Rehab RN Job Functions:
- Provide disease management, health education and physical rehabilitation for cardiopulmonary patients
- Coordinate all aspects of inpatient and outpatient care
- Assess patients pre, during, and post exercise and initiate appropriate referrals
- Supervise exercise session and monitor participants for inappropriate responses to exercise

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Cardiopulmonary Rehab RN Job Requirements:
Education Required:
- Minimum: Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Prefer: BSN
Experience Required:
- Minimum: One (1) year in cardiology, extensive medical-surgical with cardiac and pulmonary background or cardiopulmonary rehab experience
License and/or Certification Required:
- Basic Life Safety (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Safety (ACLS)
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana by date of hire into the position.
