The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute-care community teaching hospital, we provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. Staffed by our talented team of leading professionals, The Hospital of Central Connecticut provides a wide array of services throughout the region, caring for patients from birth through the end of life.

Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist the Rehab Aide performs delegated functions as a member of the rehabilitation team by providing multi-skilled services. This role contributes to the successful operation of the work area, and functions in accordance with all existing regulatory and company standards, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School graduate or equivalent required.

Experience:

• Patient care experience highly preferred, one or more years of hospital experience as rehab aide preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Computer literacy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills required
