Job description
We are looking to add another star Medical Biller to our dynamic dermatology practice! We have been in the Burien area for 24 years delivering quality medical and aesthetic services to our community. We specialize in Mohs surgery as well as dermatological surgery, phototherapy light treatments, Botox and fillers, laser treatments, lab services and have a fully equipped Medi-spa. We operate in a fast paced environment and we seek a special individual to join our Practice family.
We strongly prefer a candidate who will work in tandem, as a team, with other billing staff to perform routine billing tasks including charge entry, payment posting, refund preparation, appeals generation, insurance coverage verification, prior authorizations, A/R, patient statements, collection calls, and other tasks as assigned by Manager. All members of the billing team are continually responsive throughout the day to patient calls regarding their accounts, as well as questions from staff. Significant previous experience working as a medical biller in dermatology preferred but not required. Previous experience with our EMR platform EMA is preferred but not required. Qualified candidates need to have an endlessly positive attitude and be detail oriented. Computer savvy and technology friendly is a must.
