Emergency System Service Company / Curtis Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for a Generator Mechanic/Technician at our location in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. This individual is either an experienced electrical power generation equipment sales or service person, or a hard-working individual interested in transitioning from a similar trade.

Key Responsibilities

• Repairs and services diesel and natural gas engine driven generator sets, electrical controls, and automatic transfer switches
• Capable of troubleshooting and completing repairs on the entire system with customer contact throughout the process
• Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, repairs, preventive maintenance, and adjustments
• Use software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs
• Commitment to safety and cleanliness
• Maintain open communication with management team regarding job status, updates, and changes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• Technical or vocational diploma, preferred
• 2+ years of diesel, electrical, or HVAC experience, required
• Hands-on experience with electric generator sets and transfer switches is preferred
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record
• CDL license, recommended
• Able to travel and work occasionally after-hours/emergency hours
