Atlas Copco Service Center North America, located in Deer Park, Texas, is seeking a Repair & Field Service Technician - SCNA. The primary objectives of this position include:

To perform repairs, refurbishments and upgrades of turbo machinery and components in-house and on customer sites. This requires regional travel of approximately 50-60%.

• 
  Execute repairs and upgrades of turbo machinery and components
• Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection and damage analysis of various components
• Communicate with the Repair Shop Supervisor to ensure special repair requirements are met
• Regional travel to customer sites to execute field service on compressors and expanders
• Be willing to work overtime and/or 2nd shift to meet emergency breakdown requirements
• Perform balancing activities for rotating parts
• Assemble compressor cores, skids and turbo expanders
• Perform additional repair activities as identified by Repair Shop Supervisor
• Maintain repair documentation according to OEM quality standards
• Maintain a safe, organized and efficient work environment
• Comply with Safety Rules, Regulations and OSHA Requirements

What we expect of you?

  Strong mechanical and basic electrical skills and capabilities
• Excellent hands-on experience and knowledge in assembly of close tolerance rotating machinery
• Ability to read and understand complex manufacturing drawings
• General knowledge of repair shop processes
• Able to perform under demanding work conditions and time constraints
• Excellent problem-solving skills with multi-tasking abilities
• Ability and willingness to learn new tasks and take on new responsibilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer focused attitude and orientation
• COVID-19 vaccination required
