Research and Development Technician
Job description
Timpte is looking for an R&D Technician in our David City Facility. This person will assist in all phases of the design, development, production, testing, operation, and maintenance of equipment, tools, and industrial machinery.
Pay for this position is $21-26/hour depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Development of test machinery and equipment
- Review project instructions & blueprints to certain specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, and possible solutions
- Apply knowledge of mechanical technology under direction for R&D Staff
Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications
- Must possess degree and/or 3-5 years’ experience in R&D or Technical capacity
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, and Excel.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to read blueprints, use measuring equipment and interpret technical specifications.
