Overview: Jecho Laboratories, Inc. (Jecho) is a biopharmaceutical company developing innovative therapeutic biologics, including therapeutic monoclonal antibodies, cytokines, immunotoxins, and vaccines to address a broad range of diseases as well as treatment of cancer and infectious disease. The company is located in Frederick MD and has multiple drug candidates at various clinical stages.

We are seeking a Research Associate to join our R&D discovery team in Frederick, MD. Qualified individual should be well versed in essential molecular biology, biochemistry and cell biology techniques, and a quick learner in mastering the state-of-art drug discovery platforms to contribute to our expanding pipelines.

Essential Job Functions:

· Perform molecular biology experiments such as RT-PCR, cloning, plasmid purification, gel electrophoresis, and bacterial culturing.

· Perform biochemical and biophysical experiments such as small-scale protein expression and purification, protein characterizations such as SDS-PAGE, WB, ELISA, and BLI, etc.

· Perform cell culture and cell-based assays such as flow cytometry.

· Generate and maintain experimental data in a highly organized manner. Perform data analysis and prepare scientific reports.

· Support other R&D activities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors, or Masters in biology or biochemistry. 0-2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology field.
• Hands-on experience in molecular biology, cell biology, and biochemistry experiments.
• Computer software skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Good organization skills; able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Able to handle physical activities such as occasionally lifting objects up to 30 lbs and standing for prolonged periods.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
