Engage Bio is a Y Combinator-backed, seed-stage biotech developing mRNA immunotherapies to eliminate cancer. Our platform technology turns tumors into factories for immunotherapies, greatly increasing the concentration of drug within the tumor compared to distant tissues. This approach allows us to completely eliminate tumors while sparing healthy tissues.

The Position

We are seeking a Research Associate to join our growing team. Your key responsibility is to perform molecular cloning to help us develop our novel immunotherapies. This involves designing cloning strategies (we will train you on all the best methods), performing the benchwork to produce many new constructs each week, and communicating timelines with the rest of the team. Additional responsibilities include mRNA in vitro transcription, protein purification, biochemical assays, and cell culture.

This is a great way to gain broad / diverse experience in biotech, and a perfect role for a new graduate or someone with 1-2 years of experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
