GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY (CONCIERGE): The Concierge is responsible for the overall satisfaction of residents and guests by offering prompt and friendly personal & building assistance, providing convenient amenities, and executing daily tasks in accordance with operation guidelines.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & FUNCTIONS: Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests with utmost courtesy and urgency. Project an approachable and professional image in personal appearance, manner, and demeanor. Provide access control and remain vigilant of non-residents and their purpose for being on property. Communicate effectively and efficiently with management and colleagues in order to stay up to date with issues, policies, and procedures.
SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS: Fluent in the English language. Must demonstrate a positive attitude and professional demeanor, serving as an ambassador for the company. Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions, policies and procedures in written or oral form. Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and procedural manuals. Requires strong communication, organizational, decision-making and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task and to work well under pressure. Requires professional demeanor with ability to use independent judgment to handle any customer services matters in satisfactory manner. Proficiency with electronic resources such as Internet search, E-mail, word processing, and building management software.
JOB SCOPE: Recurring work situations with occasional variations from the norm. Job involves a moderate degree of complexity and critical thinking. Operate from established procedures, but may have to use a high degree of creativity in meeting the individual needs of residents. Operate independently with minimal supervision. Tasks, duties, and responsibilities are not limited to those stated above.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Execute the duties and responsibilities of a Concierge/Front Desk Attendant as required. Assist Supervisors/Lead Concierges with coverage assistance. Remain current on all policies and procedures of multiple properties. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of local area information at particular properties. Follow emergency procedures as directed in the property manual.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Strong oral, written, and organizational skills. Working knowledge of word processing and strong computer knowledge including programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Flexible schedule that permits desk coverage for days, evenings, overnights, weekends & holidays.
