We are currently seeking a full-time or part-time Respiratory Therapist. The ideal Respiratory Therapist candidate must be able to demonstrate competence with ventilator management, oxygen administration, nebulizer therapy, and other respiratory care services.

The responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist include, but are not limited to:
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders
- Consult with physicians and health care professionals regarding patient status
- Help with departmental staff development programs
- Oversee maintenance of equipment
- Monitor patient progress and update care plan
- Assist in quality assurance and quality improvement studies
Knowledge/skills/Abilities:
- Ability to use initiative, take responsibility and self-organize in a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure & handle competing priorities
- Ability to interact positively with staff, physicians, residents & family members
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
Job Requirements:
- Associates Degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program
- A current IL Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
