JOB DESCRIPTION:

This talented individual has a flair for merchandising, an interest in interior design and excellent customer skills. Displays the ability to stay busy without direction; multitasking from customers to merchandising to housekeeping duties while adding value to the company by building relationships with our customers and the community.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Present and sell products and services to customers using a conversational approach. Connect and engage with customers to understand their buying needs, projects, lifestyle, etc. to grow sales and seek out interior design opportunities.

Secure future business through building relationships, gatheringpersonal information, encouraging social media interaction and asking for reviews.

Create interesting displays throughout the store that demonstrate basic design elements; space, line, light, color, texture, balance, unity, proportion, etc.

Receive products with the ability to lift 50+ lbs. unassisted, inspect goods for damages, document and report damages, inventory and tag merchandise, organize backstock and maintain inventory levels/displays throughout store.

Maintain a positive attitude and work as a team. Be punctual, honest and uphold the company’s standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
