Account Resolution Specialist

Full Time Job

Summary:

Assumes responsibility for Aged Receivables of assigned client. Ability to identify denial trends, provide resolution to avoid future denials. Updates Client with information they should know. Participates as a team player and shares knowledge/experience with co-workers.

Primary Functions:

• Charge Entry
• Payment Posting
• Denial resolution via communications with insurance companies through payer websites and or phone calls
• Processing rebills and other denial correspondence.
• Correcting insurance information and redirecting the bills to the appropriate payer
• Documenting notes in the billing system and marking the account for follow up
• Correspondence with the client for any medical records and/or necessity letters that are needed to pay the claim
• Provide feedback to management upon recognizing denial trends.

JOB RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

• NextGen Health Fusion and Medical Manager Systems a plus
• Minimum of three-years denial experience (professional health preferred).
• Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word experience desired
• This job requires access to confidential and sensitive information, requiring ongoing discretion and secure information management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
