RN/LPN- Direct Care Nurse- Full Time 12 hour Night Shift!! (6pm to 6am) Two positions- Rehab Unit & Float position- Float has no weekend requirement!
New Wages, up to $41/hr!
A Nurse’s daily responsibilities will be to evaluate assigned patients within the Nursing Facility and direct the CENAs in their daily care of residents for the best quality of care. This position focuses on one long term care assignment to improve the lives of your residents daily.
Preceptor program to facilitate training of new nurses as well with additional pay!
Nurse supervisor Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing great patient care.
- Complete and accurate charting in the EMR (PointClickCare)
- Establishing a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients & families
- Administering medications and other treatments
- Assisting physicians during examinations & procedures
- Promoting patient’s independence by establishing, implementing, and directing care goals.
- Resolving patient concerns and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
- Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.
- Stay up to date on Nurse training & education and facility policy and procedure.
- Other duties as assigned.
Nurse Requirements:
- State Registered/Practical Nurse License
- Valid Identification
- COVID 19 Vaccination or Exemption
- Valid BLS CPR certification
- Comfortable using a computer.
Experience:
- Prior experience in long term care is preferred.
- Prior experience with Infection Control is preferred.
