Position: Room Attendant / Housekeeper

Number of Hours: 24-32

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / General Manager

Position Summary: Clean guest rooms and public areas. Perform other duties as instructed by management.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms within the allotted time by vacuuming, dusting, sweeping and/or mopping
• Secure guest room when finished
• Replace linens, towels and other guest supplies
• Perform Laundry duties as requested
• Perform Houseperson duties during short-staffed or peak periods
• Notify supervisors concerning the need for repairs in public areas or guest rooms
• Record or report lost and found items according to company policy
• Maintain and stock housekeeping cart daily
• Greet customers with a warm and friendly greeting and ensure overall guest satisfaction
• Always remember the 5/10/15 rule
• Follow written and verbal directions
• Ensures that staff members are following the WNW standards at all times.
• Always wear appropriate uniform as prescribed by company policy and maintain personal cleanliness
• Maintain an active posture in total property operations and perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks and must be able to lift 25 - 50 lbs.
• Perform deep cleaning program responsibilities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
