Security Benefit (SB) is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to work in the Six Sigma Department on the Robotics Project Automation (RPA) Project. This position will work in our home office in Topeka, Kansas. SB associates are working in a hybrid environment with both remote and on-site work.

General Accountabilities:

The Business Systems Analyst will work with the Six Sigma Team to assist with activities related to designated projects. Primary responsibility for this position will be to assist with the rollout of the Robotics Process Automation (RPA) projects and include the following tasks:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leads meetings with business and IT users to gather functional and non-functional requirements and map the process flows in Visio, suggesting ways to optimize processes as needed; This process will require the use of data analysis, reporting tools, and understanding of RPA
• Responsible for relationship building with stakeholders, including ownership of scheduling and leading requirement gathering sessions
• Logical thinking to find the hidden opportunities of the business processes
• Creates Detail Process Description – PDD (Process Description Document)
• Create and execute system test plans of RPA automations
• Assists users with completing user acceptance testing of RPA automations
• Perform data analysis and report development
• Contributes to best practice documentation and standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Information Systems field, or 5 plus years’ experience in Financial Services Industry
• 1 to 3 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry
• Experience documenting process flows for various business functions, including Finance, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and IT
• Experience in preparing and performing quality assurance testing
• Experience in communicating and facilitating meetings with various management and staff
• Demonstrated ability with Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of conditional loops and if/then statements
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• A quick learner with good listening skills, detail oriented and self-motivated
• Willingness to learn, develop, and contribute in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of UIPath/RPA technology
