We exist to make car ownership as simple, easy, and affordable as possible.

FIXD breaks car problems down into simple and understandable terms, so drivers don't get taken advantage of when they go to a repair shop. We create helpful tools and resources for drivers so that they can feel confident and informed whenever they have a car related problem.

FIXD is launching an exciting new product called CarRx. CarRx offers many of the same features as FIXD with the added benefit of coming pre-installed from the dealership.

Who we’re looking for

• A backend developer with an ability to think from an architecture and performance perspective
• An engineer with the ability to understand the reasons behind requirements that is comfortable iterating quickly to find product-market fit and test out new features
• A person with the ability to communicate technical aspects to non-techie people, being analytical and data-driven.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing new features, improving existing applications, working on new software.
• Preparing for long-term growth, scalability and reliability.
• Working closely with the product owner to help deliver features and provide feedback on feasibility and timelines
• Working in a team of 3-5 people with a diverse skill set

Key Skills

• Ruby on Rails, RSpec
• Postgres
• REST APIs design
• Experience with scaling, optimization for speed

Bonus Skills

• GraphQL
• Angular 10
• Python

Location

We’re located in Midtown Atlanta, GA. Open to hire candidates from anywhere in the United States. No visa sponsorship, must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
