DFS is currently hiring FULL TIME CLEANING CUSTODIAN at RUSH HOSPITAL.
***Applicant must successfully pass pre-employment Medical Screening, Criminal Background Check and Drug Test ***
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
- Follow instructions from immediate Supervisor on daily and detailing duties including:
- Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs floors; spot clean all airport surfaces.
- Dusts and polishes furniture, woodwork, displays and fixtures.
- Polices and disinfects restrooms to include: sweeping, dusting, counter cleaning, replenishing paper supplies and emergency cleanup.
- Responsible for deep cycle cleaning and spot cleaning carpet.
- Operates equipment associated with all aspects of the cleaning process.
- All other duties and projects as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED.
- One (1) year experience in custodial work (Housekeeping, General Cleaning, and or Janitorial Services) is preferred.
