Galleria Fine Jewelry is looking for a enthusiastic retail Sales Associate in the Lebanon area to join our sales team and start a career in the jewelry industry. The position is for Tuesday through Saturday. Some Sales experience is required. If you have a desire to learn, we will train you. Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answering their questions about our products, as well as, light cleaning duties. Ultimately, the duties of a sales associate are to achieve excellent customer service. A routine background check will be part of the hiring process. We have a conservative dress code which includes no facial piercing, no gauges, and no jeans. Please be respectful of this if you wish to interview.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
• Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
• “Go the extra mile” to provide excellent customer service.
• Actively seek out customers in store
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases
• Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
• Build productive trust relationships with customers
• Comply with inventory control procedures
• Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design)
• Work schedule will be full time, Tuesday through Saturday.

Skills

• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Proficiency in English
• Basic Math skills
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
• Availability to work flexible shifts
• High school degree; BS degree in Marketing or related field would be a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Commission pay

• Lebanon, MO 65536: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
