LOCAL RADIO and DIGITAL SALES POSITION – WDEZ / WIFC / JACK-FM, WRIG, WSAU - WAUSAU / STEVENS POINT

Are you ready to take your Sales career to the next level, while working with local business owners and managers in the Stevens Point/Plover area?

Our family-owned company, Midwest Communications Inc., a radio industry leader, is seeking skilled and highly motivated Marketing Consultants to sell multi-media marketing solutions including digital and broadcast products to local Stevens Point/Plover area businesses.

Radio properties include the area’s long-standing top stations, CHR 95.5FM, WIFC and Great Country 101.9FM, WDEZ, as well as News/Talk AM 550/FM 99.9, WSAU, 94.7 Jack-FM and 93.9 FM, THE GAME .

In this position you will use your expertise and experience to prospect for qualified local businesses; reach decision makers, analyze client needs and deliver compelling and strategic advertising presentations utilizing the multiple marketing platforms that Midwest Communications offers to address and achieve client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement local direct sales plans with an emphasis on customer focused selling including radio campaigns, digital marketing, NTR events and sponsorship of station events.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
• Develop and grow business relationships with key local companies, focusing on branding and long-term partnerships.

Ideal candidates should have:

• Minimum of 2 years sales experience with a proven local direct and digital sales track record.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in prospecting, market plan creation, presenting and closing.
• A working knowledge of digital and radio marketing products.
• Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
• An entrepreneurial self-starter spirit committed to their own professional growth as well as their team’s growth.

Pay: $38,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
