Scheduling Coordinator

We are currently looking to hire a full- time scheduling coordinator at our homecare agency located in New Britain, CT.
This is a full-time position: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. This is not a remote position.

General tasks for this position include:
-Answering phones and assisting caregivers/clients with their questions.
-Offering open shifts to caregivers and adding into scheduling system.
-Communicating with clients and family regarding services.
-Communicating with care managers regarding client hours and "service authorizations".
-Documenting in scheduling system daily.
-Educating and explaining individual care plans to new or assigned staff.
-Taking "on-call" for one week in rotation with other scheduling coordinators (additional pay for this).
-Ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently in a fast paced work environment.
-Ability to take direction and work under strict deadlines.
-Strong computer and organizational skills.
Requirements:
- Minimum of ONE YEAR SCHEDULING EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associates preferred
- Valid drivers license
- Professional phone etiquette
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to work independently and accurately
