We have immediate openings for Registered Nurses for our Seasonal RN Program.

This program offers flexible staffing options to provide coverage for the hospital during times of peak need. Seasonal Registered Nurses work for a specific length of time during the year. This can be up to 12 continuous weeks per 12 month rolling calendar. The time period could be extended. During this program, the hourly rate for 3 (12 hour) shifts per week must be able to offer a weekend day commitment will be a base rate of $70.00 per hour. At the end of the Seasonal Program agreement, you will be free to change your status, request termination, or remain employed as a Full Time RN at a base rate according to the pay scale in place at the end of the seasonal program. Kindred Hospital Chattanooga is a 49-bed long-term acute care hospital, we offer the same critical care patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for an extended recovery period. Our RNs play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients. We located in the heart of Chattanooga just six blocks south of Riverfront Pkwy at 709 Walnut Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402.

As a Registered Nurse / RN you will:

• Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
• Develop nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
• Communicate changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
• Participate in discharge planning process.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing as Registered Nurse / RN or Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program as a Registered Nurse / RN.
• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse / RN.
• BCLS certification is required. ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year as a Registered nurse / RN with Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred OR 1 year of ICU experience preferred
