General Requirements:

• Practice safety rules.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Safe use of hand & power tools.
• Report to and assist immediate supervisor.
• Perform quality work as determined by project specifications.
• Accountable for all tools and materials at the end of your shift.
• Must work well as part of a team.

Functional Requirements:

• Measure distances from grade stakes.
• Drive stakes.
• Stretch lines tight.
• Pick up and carry various tools and materials as needed.
• Bolt, nail, align, and block up forms.
• Level earth to fine grade specifications using pick and shovel.
• Position, align, and seal pipe sections.
• Spray materials with hose to clean, coat, or seal surfaces.
• Apply caulking compounds by hand or with caulking gun to seal crevices.
• Grind surfaces, such as concrete, using abrading tools or machines.
• Perform a variety of tasks, such as dismantling forms, involving dexterous use of hands and tools.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.

Qualification Standards:

• One (1) to four (4) years of experience in specified skill (depending on mechanic level).
• Written pre-employment qualification test.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• New Hire Orientation Quiz
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the workplace.
• Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.).
