Accountant - Allied Aviation US

Allied Aviation US is the parent company of Allied Aviation Services. Allied Aviation Services provides into-plane refueling and tank farm management services at the major airports throughout the United States.

We are seeking a full time, highly motivated Senior Accountant to work in our team oriented Corporate Office at 1219 South East Avenue, Suite 301 Sarasota, Florida.

This is a hands-on position in all areas of Corporate Accounting. The position covers and includes multi-company accounting, treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, general ledger, and budgeting.

Job responsibilities include:

· Reconcile bank accounts

· Reconcile general ledger accounts

· Prepare workpapers for external audits

· Assist with loading budgets into the GL system

· Prepare payroll uploads into the general ledger

· Maintain the fixed asset module

· Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements

· Assist with requests from external auditors

· Load templates for wires and ACH payments

· Upload Positive Pay files for accounts payable checks

· Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis

. Manage the billing staff and review the billings

· Some of the above responsibilities will include reviewing the work product prepared in our New York City regional office.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting

· Minimum of 2-3 years’ corporate or public accounting experience

· Experience working with Excel and computerized accounting systems

· Strong communication skills

· CPA a plus and level of experience a plus
