Senior Accountant / Assistant Controller- E&P
Reporting to the VP-Finance:
- P/E Backed
- Base + bonus + profit sharing/equity grants
- Will be right hand to the VP of Finance/Controller- get hands on lots of things- great resume builder
- 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off (unless go time)

Reporting to the VP-Finance:
- MONTHLY CLOSE
- REPORTING/PLANNING/FORECASTING
- CASH MANAGEMENT
- PARTNERSHIP REPORTING
- ANNUAL BUDGET
- TAX COMPLIANCE- support outside CPA firms
- CONTROLS/PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS
- MANAGERIAL & SUPERVISORY – Assistant Controller / Sr. Accountant to work directly under VP-Finance, and support COO/Engineering Team, along with managing day-to-day with third-party accounting firm(s)
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 5+ years of demonstrated success in accounting roles
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Regulations.
- Proficiency with other Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Oil & Gas Accounting Systems.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) accreditation preferred.
