Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior accountant to oversee general accounting operations. The Senior accountant responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Senior accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. Senior accountant duties include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Month and year end close process
• General ledger management and reconciliation
• Cash receipts
• Payroll allocation
• Fixed assets management
• Inventory accounting
• Month-end closing, cash flow reporting and GL reconciliation
• Maintain general ledger to support financial statement preparation and management reporting package
• Cash receipts reporting
• Prepare payroll allocation for multiple business entities
• Fixed assets management reporting for acquisitions/disposals and recording depreciation.
• Support inventory accounting implementation process

Requirements:

• A minimum of five years of experience in accounting, with two years of Property Management/Real Estate exposure preferred
• The ability to provide oversight to and hands-on work around our month-end close
• Broad knowledge of GAAP/Financial Policies and Procedures and Internal Controls
• Solid understanding and utilization of ERP Software and Microsoft Office.
• Budget and forecasting experience
• Experience with Rent Manager and AvidXchange is a definite plus
