Volt is immediately hiring a Senior Accountant in Colorado Springs, CO.

As a Senior Accountant you will computing, classifying, recording, reconciling, reviewing, and analyzing financial transactions to ensure client financial records are accurate and maximizing value to our client’s bottom line. Their direct efforts empower our team to provide timely financial and tax advisement based on patterns and gaps in efficiencies for our small business clients.
The ideal candidate will have:

• Financial Management
• Curate and develop long-term relationships with clients as a trusted advisor and strategic partner that empowers clients to make educated financial decisions
• Leverage industry expertise and hospitality in both client and community interactions
• Proactively manage vendor relationships, establish expectations, deadlines, and communication channels
• Proactively recognize, anticipate and resolve issues; make valuable recommendations
• Categorize transactions, reconcile accounts, manage technology integrations, and perform research
• Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store and analyze information
• Check figures, postings and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy and proper codes
• Classify, record and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers
• Debits, credits and totals accounts in computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software
• Comply with federal, state and company policies, procedures and regulations
• Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses
• Code documents according to company procedures
• Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on innovative solutions for our growing client base

This is a direct hire opportunity
The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelors degree in accounting
• 5+ years of client-based accounting experience required; supervisory experience preferred
• QuickBooks Online Experience or equivalent accounting software experience
• Active CPA license or working towards a CPA license is preferred
• Client Advisory Services (CAS) experience is preferred

Pay Rate: $75k-$95K

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
