Terros Health is hiring a Senior Analyst Revenue Cycle for our Central Avenue location, Phoenix, AZ.


Full-Time Position

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IS/IT, Finance or Related Field

4+ Years of Experience Providing Clinical and/or Business System Support, Data Reporting and Analysis

Position Summary:
The Revenue Cycle Analyst provides business intelligence to Revenue Cycle Management and the Executive Leadership Team via data and reporting tools. This position is responsible for supporting Revenue Cycle Management operations via data extraction from Electronic Health Record database, data analysis, dashboard and report build outs. This position will develop, design, implement, and maintain reports specific to healthcare claims submission performance, and effectiveness of healthcare revenue billing and collections. The position will analyze performance metrics, claims/billing practices, and claims accounts receivable to assist the Revenue Cycle Management Team in meeting or exceeding its goals relating to the billing and collection of healthcare service dollars. This includes the monitoring of Revenue Cycle data trends, identifying root causes and recommending work prioritization and solutions. This position reports to the Director of Revenue Cycle Management.


Financial Analysis
  • Analyze healthcare claims accounts receivables including trends, cash results, aging, bad debt and payment success.
  • Assists with identification of trends and other results of analysis with appropriate internal staff.
Healthcare Claims Reimbursement Analysis
  • Analyze healthcare claims accounts receivables including trends, cash results, aging, bad debt and payment success.
  • Assists with analyses of impact of new regulations or codes from a coding, compliance and reimbursement perspective.
  • Builds reports to monitor denials, reductions, rejections and overpayments and works with Revenue Cycle Management Team to develop solutions.
  • Analyzing healthcare claims data, preparing revenue forecasts and performing trend analysis.

C) Reserve Analysis

iii) Bad Debt
d) Healthcare Claims Dashboard/Claims Metrics
e) Trend Analysis
f) Healthcare Claims Inventory
g) Healthcare Providers with unbilled notes in EHR
h) Other reports as need

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, IS/IT, finance or related field.
  • An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement.
  • Report writing and data extraction experience with extensive knowledge of healthcare claims data analysis and interpretation.
  • Working knowledge of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPS), and ICD-10.
  • 4+ years of experience providing clinical and/or business system support, data reporting and analysis and/or report creation in an integrated (medical and behavioral) healthcare system environment or for a major EHR vendor (e.g., Cerner, Epic, NextGen). Experience in behavioral health a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Microsoft based applications and enterprise data warehouses
  • This role is a non-driving position. This position is performed at one location and does not require travel to various TERROS Health centers. May be 21 years of age and with less than two years’ driving experience or no driving experience.
  • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.
  • Must pass a TB Test.
