Due to this growth, we are looking for a highly capable Senior Application Support Specialist to help us develop outstanding business processes leveraging our new ERP platform. The goal is to create value for Polk Nation; leveraging technology to enhance operational success.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Provide subject matter expertise within specific applications such as Project Management, Accounting, Purchasing, etc.
• Participate in activities and meetings for implementation and rollout of any new or existing systems and applications for the Polk Nation community
• Conduct training for the Polk Nation community on systems and applications and assists in configuring the application to support operations
• Act as a central resource for post-implementation support and maintenance of all end-user applications
• Define, document and understand existing business processes and procedures and works with leadership to identify, recommend and implement new procedures to maximize efficiencies with new or existing applications
• Responsible for testing activities, including documenting test plans and scenarios, executing test cases, documenting and submitting problems to the appropriate resource for correction
• Participate in end-user requirement definition and analysis activities
• Assist in the development of Analytical and Transactional SQL-Based Reports

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• 5-7 years of proven experience as a Senior Application Support Specialist or appropriate Database and Application Support experience
• Knowledge of how to access and extract data from an Oracle database is required
• Knowledge of how to access and extract data utilizing OData APIs is preferred
• Working knowledge of IFS or IFS Cloud greatly preferred
• Must be capable of learning new applications and business processes in a rapidly evolving environment
• Flexibility to work independently and in a collaborative environment is essential
• Must have experience providing excellent customer service to both technical and non-technical end users
• Must be able to work periodically after hours and on weekends
• Experience in Commercial Construction or a strong background in cost accounting systems and build to order systems is a plus
• Prior consulting experience is a plus
• The ideal candidate will be analytical with excellent communication skills and a desire to provide excellent customer service while solving problems
