The purpose of this position is to perform professional legal work assisting the County Attorney in carrying out duties as legal counsel and criminal prosecutor for Crow Wing County. Work is performed under the general supervision of the First Assistant County Attorney and County Attorney.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Minnesota
• Graduation from an accredited undergraduate university or college
• Completion of the MN State and multi-state bar examination and professional responsibility examination
• Attorney II – 2-5 years of experience as a practicing attorney and/or equivalent work experience
• Attorney III – 5 or more years of experience as a practicing attorney and/or equivalent work experience
• Working knowledge of applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations, and ordiancnes and established precedent
• Valid state issued driver's license

Pay: $73,739.00 per year
