Job Summary:
Acquisition Professionals LLC is seeking a full-time Senior Corporate Recruiter with Federal Government Contracting experience; responsible for finding, recruiting, hiring, and retaining talented candidates. The Talent Acquisition Manager will be in charge of planning, developing, and implementing an effective Talent Acquisition strategy for the organization, to include building a strong Employer Brand. This position plays a vital role in achieving our corporate growth and increased profitability.

This position requires the ability to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status, or qualify for a reasonable accommodation, in compliance with Executive Order on Ensuring Adequate COVID safety Protocols for Federal Contractors. Fully vaccinated is defined as two weeks post final vaccination.

Responsibilities:
  • The recruiting process may involve both internal and external sourcing methods, thereby requiring the individual to be adept at understanding where and how to locate candidates
  • The position entails the candidate utilizing both traditional and non-traditional resources and having a network of established contacts to identify and attract talent.
  • Individual will be responsible for attracting suitable candidates for open job positions and assessing their relevant knowledge and experience, identifying future hiring needs, designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through databases and social media, conducting interviews, filing paperwork, and keeping abreast of employment law and legislations.
  • Resources often include community networking events, job fairs, online sources, career fairs, and advertising/marketing programs. Remains up to date on the requirements of the various positions in the company, and acts as an advocate for new and established employees.
  • Collaborating with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements to design and implement an overall recruiting strategy.
  • Conducting regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions while growing a strong talent pipeline.
  • Promoting the company's reputation as “best place to work” and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity.
  • Providing analytical and well documented recruiting reports to team managers and company executives by developing and tracking goals for the recruiting and hiring process (i.e., data on cost per hire and time-to-hire).
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications and developing a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards, association memberships, trade groups, and social media, etc. Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process. Following up on the interview process status.
  • Communicating employer information and benefits during screening process and managing the job offer including negotiation. Participating in exit interviews on terminating/resigned employees.
  • Candidate Screening: Responsible for screening resumes to determine which candidates meet the minimum requirements and then move chosen candidates on to the next step in the hiring process.
  • Interviewing: Responsible for conducting initial interviews, to narrow the number of potential candidates who will be interviewed by the hiring manager. Setting up interview appointments between the chosen candidates and the hiring manager.
  • Reference and Background Checks: Coordinates the reference and background checks by verifying employment information and contacting the professional and personal contacts provided by the candidate.
Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or Business Administration, with proven work experience in screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates.
Required Qualifications:
  • Must have federal government contracting recruiting experience
  • 5-10 years' Talent Acquisition Manager experience
  • Experience with recruitment processes and databases.
  • The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to listen proactively, ask the right questions and clarify the needs of the client and candidate.
  • Decision-making and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented;
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc.)
  • Adaptability including the ability to work effectively with diverse people
  • Negotiating, problem analysis and problem solving
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc.)
  • Proactive, Pre-emptive, Engaged and Hands-on
  • Can assess candidates' skills, experience and relevant knowledge and compare them to job requirements;
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
  • Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
  • Discretion due to dealing with confidential information.
  • Must be a United States Citizen
