Title: Senior Desktop Engineer

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Location: can sit in either West Orange, NJ or Oceanport, NJ!

WFH Mon & Fri

Work Authorization: US Citizen, GC

Must-haves:

• 7+ Years Desktop Support & Engineering Experience
• Extensive knowledge of unified endpoint management, e.g., Kace LANDesk, SCCM, including implementation, maintenance, and administration.
• Experience managing windows updates for 10,000+ systems
• Strong skills in software deployment, patch management, and incident response.
• Experience and comfort with training IT staff members.
• Ability to lead a team and projects.
• Excellent written, verbal, & interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of ITSM tools, e.g., Service Now/Remedy

Day-to-Day:

Insight Global's Healthcare Client is seeking a Windows Desktop Engineer to lead their Desktop Engineering team. The primary purpose of the role is to maintain and support the enterprise desktop architecture. Responsibilities will include maintaining workstation images, packaging, and patch management. This role will define and improve the enterprise endpoint architecture. The position is expected to manage endpoints in a hybrid environment consisting of thin clients with virtualized desktops, physical PC workstations, and end user mobility.

The role is WFH Mon & Fridays.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
