About the Role:
Equality Health is looking for a highly motivated Senior Director of Marketing & Communications to support the development of a marketing strategy during an exciting period of growth as they look to scale from a regional to a national platform.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this individual will be a key player in molding marketing and communications for Equality Health, providing strategic guidance and propelling the organization forward to help them achieve their ambitious goals for growth. This leader should bring successful growth experience and ownership of marketing functions, as well as a strategic and mission-driven mindset with an eye towards value-based care. The Senior Director will be responsible for framing Equality’s value proposition and maximizing enterprise value in the minds of providers, health plans, and investors, and will support in developing high-performing marketing and communications team to drive expansion.
Responsibilities:

  • Support the enterprise-wide marketing communications efforts; develop and create and execute a replicable marketing strategy to support and expedite new market expansion and in existing markets
  • Support the design and implementation of product & strategy solutions to drive growth and scalability
  • Support the development and execution of a messaging strategy to effectively communicate and reinforce Equality’s value proposition while marketing to physician groups, practice administrators, and health plans
  • Execute brand, public relations, and media strategies to ensure optimal positioning in the market and to drive Equality Health’s success in entering new markets & growing in existing markets
  • Support the establishment of brand identity and maximize enterprise value in the minds of providers, potential investors, and equity partners, drive all internal and external messaging across the platform
  • Partner with leaders across Equality with a speci?c emphasis on re?ning a marketing strategy with the growth and development teams to drive expansion
  • Drive an outcomes-based marketing function that emphasizes a maximum ROI
  • Ensure the growth and value of Equality’s products and services by acting as an internal strategic thought partner and consultant on all marketing and communications efforts

Required Knowledge, Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA preferred
  • Extensive experience in a senior leadership role, carrying part ownership of marketing and communications functions in the healthcare space; familiarity evaluating and selecting third-party agencies
  • Experience working as a leader within a company’s marketing and communications team with a track record of effective leadership, deploying plans within an organization, and mentoring others on high performing teams
  • Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; able to work with all levels in the organization
  • Proven ability to support the build and/or transform a healthcare brand, ideally targeting the payer or provider markets; understands financial and operational data within a healthcare-specific lens
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and strategic growth mindset, and has driven successful outcomes in a high-growth environment
