FieldBridge Energy is looking for Senior Electrical Engineers to work in the world's largest producer of compressed and specialty gasses. This position is based in Branchburg

Pay Rate: $60.00/hr

Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Overview:

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for applying engineering principles
independently to all aspects of specification, design, programming, installation, startup, and troubleshooting of industrial power distribution systems. The candidate preferably has experience in manufacture or use of ultrahigh purity materials supplied to the semiconductor industry.

Job Duties:

  • Capable of developing, implementing and supporting plant electrical distribution hardware in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Effective at troubleshooting industrial electrical distribution systems and implementing corrective actions independently.
  • Power monitoring system configuration and programming.
  • Working with highly hazardous chemicals at a manufacturing facility.
  • Responsible for establishing engineering design basis, and assisting with design

documentation (Single line drawings, panel schedules, load list etc.) for both new andexisting facilities while following electrical code, best practice and department standards.

  • Capable of assisting with contractor supervision and electrical installation inspection and tests.
  • Provide electrical engineering support for capital projects, define project scopes, develop cost estimates, organize third party services.
  • Understanding of electrical distribution and power loading in industrial control systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree electrical engineering,or equivalent.
  • 10+years of relevant experience, including Single line drawings, panel schedules, load list issued for bid and issued for construction documentation packages.
  • Knowledge of OEM equipment manufacturers: Eaton, ABB, GE, SIEMENS.
  • Knowledge and experience of NFPA-70E and arc-flash study software.
  • Skilled at performing short circuit, load flow, harmonic studies, arc-flash and coordination studies (SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower).
  • Understanding of NFPA-110, Standard for Emergency and Standby Power.
  • Candidate should have knowledge of applicable codes and standards for industrial power distribution (UL listing, NEC, NFPA, etc.) as applied to hazardous classified areas.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Trained in standard procedures for safe gas and chemical handling.
  • Chemical plant operation experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to multitask.
