Role Value Proposition:
The Senior Event Producer is responsible for coordinating all the technical and production elements involved in the delivery of live, virtual, hybrid corporate meetings and events, ensuring that proper technology solutions, suppliers and resources are allocated to achieve flawless execution.
The Global Event Operations team is responsible for the overall management and execution of the company’s highest-level meetings and events. As a member of this team, the Senior Event Producer will work in collaboration with the department’s management, meeting planners, data management team, key company stakeholders, and outside vendors in delivering high level services against key projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages all aspects of in-person, live and hybrid event production and provide consultative and expert knowledge to ensure production supports corporate objectives, meet brand requirements, quality standards and business goals.
- Evaluate and understand stakeholder’s needs/objectives and make recommendations on production solutions
- Create event project plan to set up protocols, facilitate project and team processes, develop SOWs, coordinate RFP’s, evaluate proposals, negotiate rates, review contracts and award projects
- Conduct site inspections of venues, create show flows, and manage rehearsals to ensure smooth business content continuity
- Acquire presentation content, edit, run tech rehearsals, and prepare for live delivery as well as troubleshoot and find solutions for technical issues
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- Five + years of experience in a live event production role.
- Knowledge of meeting & incentive industries and supporting technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with expert knowledge with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Understanding of AutoCAD, or similar room layout software, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or audio editing.
- Ability to travel up to 30%
Preferred:
- College degree preferred, DES designation or work experience equivalent.
- Sound judgement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Display decisive and successful problem-solving skills
- Produce results in a fast paced, high pressure, deadline–driven environment
- Ability to think strategically, understand business needs and apply creative problem-solving skills
- Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- High degree of diplomacy
