Job description
- Drive business results through identifying financial opportunities and owning the process of implementing findings with eCom business partners
- Provide independent analytical approach to review critical eCom topics such as market and site level analysis, key metrics, OPEX investment requirements and the impact on sales & margin
- Drive the monthly forecast and reporting processes as well as develop financial tools that support deep dives into KPI analytics and business performance
- Support eCom financial data submission obligations throughout the corporate systems landscape (ERP, reporting tools)
- Partner with the eCom business to consult and design financial models for key strategic initiatives and SBP planning
- Demonstrated analytical skills, comfort with Finance and/or Accounting principles and good understanding and experience with retail math and financial drivers.
- Proven ability to operate cross functionally, join data from various sources and develop creative and innovative solutions within an entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong prioritization skills and the ability to accomplish assignments simultaneously under tight timelines.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, stakeholders, peers, clients and customers.
- Understanding in fundamental database design and development. Ability to gather data from multiple sources and manipulate the data to develop demand-driven and action-based reporting and analysis.
- Advanced skills in Excel. Strongly proficient skills in Access, Word, PowerPoint and TM1 Cognos (or other reporting software).
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university. MBA preferred.
- 5-7 years related experience and/or training.
- Will accept any suitable combination of education, training and experience
- Industry specific experience preferred
- Solid accounting skills and experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills required
