Role Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for project analysis including but not limited to cost analysis, project cash flow, financial reporting, and support of external reporting needs. This individual also participates in the forecast and budgeting process. This individual is also responsible for ad hoc projects as necessary.

How you will make an impact

• Plan, study, and collect data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.
• Analyze actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
• Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services
• Compile project costs and analyze variances.
• Assist in modeling for key strategic investments, resource management and the annual spend/investment planning process.
• Regularly meet and build relationships with functional owners to review performance and address business needs
• Assist in the creation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts, including the development of detailed department budgets with supporting documentation of assumptions and project budgets
• Assist with ERP system implementations and drive reporting synergies and efficiencies across 6K entities
• Participation in cross functional business partnering to drive business efficiencies.
• Assist in special projects, reporting, and analysis as needed.

What you will need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 5+ years of Finance experience
• Highly proficient in Excel
• Ability to think and work independently with high attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, with changing and sometimes competing priorities, and still meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to complete tasks on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy.
• Experience working with a BI/Data Warehouse tool is a plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
